About Slow Sundays Mail Club

We're two friends who kept having the same conversation: why is it so hard to actually slow down?

There's always something else that needs doing. Another email, another load of washing, another job we'll quickly get out of the way. And somehow, even the things we do to relax can start to feel like something else we should be doing properly.

We kept coming back to Sundays. Not necessarily Sundays themselves, but that particular feeling when everything feels a bit more relaxed, with nowhere in particular you need to be. The kind of day where you can make another cup of tea, pick up a book, draw something, go for a wander, or just stare out of the window for a while watching the world go by.

We wanted to find a way to make a little more room for that feeling, whatever day of the week it happens to be.

And that's where Slow Sundays came from.

Once a month, we send an illustrated envelope through the post, filled with a few things we've made and chosen to give you an excuse to stop for a while. There might be something to make, something to keep, something that gets you thinking, or just something we thought was lovely and wanted to send to you.

There's nothing you need to finish, no right way to use it and no pressure to do anything with it straight away. Just open it when you have a quiet moment, see what's inside and make your own Sunday feeling out of it.

Slow Sundays really is just a little bit of time that's yours, and some nice post to go with it.
